American Association of Blood Banks (AABB)
The AABB Parentage Testing Accreditation Program is the gold standard for paternity testing. It is based on a set of highly stringent criteria for performing parentage tests.
Laboratories voluntarily participate in the AABB program to ensure quality performance. Our laboratory has participated in this program for over 8 years, achieving perfect ratings in AABB inspections.
 
We are pleased to announce that we are certified through FQS-I as an ISO 17025:2005 compliant provider of DNA Testing Services. This is the most stringent International Accreditation for DNA Testing Laboratories.

International Organization for Standardization (ISO)
The ISO, an organization formed by 146 countries, sets criteria for quality performance of procedures in various industries, from manufacturing to laboratory services. Our lab has achieved the ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation for our DNA testing processes: a worldwide industry standard for companies that offer paternity testing and related services.
College of American Pathologists (CAP)
CAP offers two types of evaluations that our laboratory participates in: the Proficiency Testing Program and the Laboratory Accreditation Program. In Proficiency Testing, CAP sends samples to our laboratory for testing and evaluates the results we report to them. In the Laboratory Accreditation Program, CAP examiners come to our laboratory and assess every aspect of our procedures.
Most laboratories claim to be CAP-accredited, but they only participate in the proficiency testing program. Our laboratory is one of the few paternity testing laboratories that have passed the inspection and been accredited by CAP so far. The zero-deficiency rating by CAP places us among the top of an exclusive group of CAP-accredited laboratories.
Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA)
CLIA is the program through which the US Department of Health regulates all testing performed on humans. Our laboratory has been CLIA-certified since 1996: a testament to almost a decade of accurate and reliable DNA testing service.
The New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH)
Those who live in New York should look for laboratories with the NYSDOH certification. We have worked hard to achieve this prestigious certification, and we are one of only a few laboratories to have recognition from both the AABB and NYSDOH.
